**The GCMA is dedicated to the continuing professional development of its members.
GCMA’s objectives include a commitment to provide training facilities on all facets of golf club administration.
The GCMA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme has been designed to assist GCMA Members record their attendance at education and training events on an annual basis.
The GCMA has provided and continuing to develop a range of education and training opportunities. GCMA members can also gain CPD points by attending activities covering relevant topics organised by other bodies. Members planning to attend any activity provided by other organisations should contact GCMA HQ who will satisfy themselves that allocating points is justified.
The Membership Structure was launched in 2007, and we are currently in the fourth year of CPD (1 September 2010 to 31 August 2011). As always, it is good to focus on the eventual benefits of the scheme - for GCMA members and employers.
