BNU/GCMA Certificate in Golf Club Management
Bucks New University - 'Certificate in Golf Club Management'
One Year Distance Learning Course
The Certificate in Golf Club Management is an innovative work-based qualification, which aims to capitalise on your existing experience within the golf sector and to set that expertise in the context of an academically rigorous learning experience.
It is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to work as golf club secretaries and managers and to consolidate the experience of those already working in the sector. It has been designed with employers’ input and ongoing consultation with the GCMA in order to address the needs of those who work within the golf industry.
It is a part-time course combining learning in the workplace with academic study, via a series of five workshops through the year and online learning. Students also benefit from email and web-based support whilst studying the course. This makes the course highly suitable for those employed in the sector because they can manage their own time for learning, irrespective of their location.
