GCMA Brings Together Club Management Professionals for a Flagship Day of Golf, as the GCMA National Members Championship concludes for another year
The 2025 GCMA National Members Championship concluded in style at the stunning Parkstone Golf Club, welcoming golf club managers from across the UK to one of the GCMA’s most cherished annual traditions. Set amidst the undulating fairways and picturesque heathland of Dorset, the event brought together members from a wide range of clubs for a day of competition, catching-up and celebration.
The Championship is a longstanding highlight in the GCMA calendar, offering a chance for members to test their skills, network with fellow professionals, and experience first-class hospitality at a premier venue. Parkstone, with its reputation for excellence and immaculate course conditions, provided the ideal host – its strategic layout and natural beauty posing both a challenge and a reward.
Despite damp and blustery conditions, spirits were high as participants teed off with determination and good humour. Leading to a successful day enjoyed by all.

President’s Bowl Winner:
Taking home the President’s Bowl with an impressive 40 points was Neil Hallam Jones of Walmer and Kingsdown. His consistent play and strategic approach proved a winning combination.

Greenshields Trophy & Founders Cup:
The day’s standout performance came from Andy Rideout of High Post Golf Club, who secured both the Greenshields Trophy and Founders Cup with a gross 68 and a nett score of 67 – a remarkable achievement under testing conditions. Rideout also picked up the award for Nearest the Pin in Two on the 8th hole, underlining a memorable day of play.
