Peterborough Milton Golf Club have an exciting opportunity for a professional General Manager to take responsibility for all day-to-day operational responsibilities including staff and full profit and loss accountability

The centrepiece of this busy and successful private members’ club is its 18-hole James Braid Championship course, which is maintained to an excellent standard and highly regarded throughout Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding counties.

It’s catering and bar services are busy year-round with functions, competitions and social events. All customers are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome.

The Board of Directors now want to build on this success and further improve its offering to golfers, guests and social visitor alike. The General Manager will be expected to work closely with Club Directors to gain a deeper insight of members priorities and aspirations. Out of this understanding will come a fully costed and realistic 5 Year Plan.

The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager at a medium or large golf club/resort with a relevant management qualification. The General Manager has full responsibility for all aspects of the running and administration of the Golf Club, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the Club achieves its operational, financial and strategic targets. The role holder will promote the Club externally and internally in a professional and friendly manner, enhancing the brand and fully supporting the Board of Directors in delivering the Club’s objectives.
