Suitable positions at golf clubs could include: Seasonal Greenkeepers On-course drinks and Cart Staff Front-of-House Food & Beverage positions Kitchen Assistants Office Administration and Sales roles Golf Operations Assistants Richard said: “Golf Clubs need to fully utilise the various government employment initiatives that are in place. Kickstart is one such initiative that, from my experience of managing golf clubs, is almost tailor made for the industry. Historically, I think the administrative burden of applying for funding has always been difficult for Golf Club’s. The LSS Group can now undertake this on behalf of the golf club – pooling applications across multiple clubs.” The funding application process started in January, with successful clubs expected to be able to start recruitment from March/April.
