It is important to regularly check in with your mental health. By taking the time to assess your mental health, you can identify any areas that need improvement and make changes to improve your overall well-being. Internal systems Am I taking care of my mental health as well as my physical health? Am I seeing a therapist or counsellor if I need to? Am I taking medication if it is prescribed to me? Steering Am I taking steps to improve my mental health? What positive habits am I incorporating into my daily life? What negative habits am I trying to break? Pressure How am I managing my stress levels? What are my triggers? What coping mechanisms do I have in place? Breaks Am I taking enough time for rest and relaxation? What activities do I enjoy that help me de-stress? How often do I take breaks throughout the day? Driver's view of the road Am I thinking clearly? Am I able to control my thoughts and emotions? Am I making good decisions? Bodywork How do I feel about myself? Am I confident? Do I feel good about my body? Fuel What am I doing to take care of my physical health? Am I eating a healthy diet? Am I getting enough exercise? Am I getting enough sleep? Safety Who is in my support system? Who can I talk to when I'm feeling overwhelmed? Who can I rely on for help?
