The Club:
Army Golf Club: Is a private members club situated on 165 acres of woodland/heathland located adjacent to Farnborough Aerodrome between Fleet and Aldershot, and is recognised as one of the premier
courses in Hampshire. As an England Golf and County Championship venue, we have a
reputation as a challenging, picturesque course with outstanding greens.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be a key member of the office team involved in supporting the
General Manager to deliver a seamless experience across all areas of the Club including:
- Financial controls across all aspects of the golf operation such as cash control and
- daily takings
- Support to Department Heads and management of HR queries
- Provision of excellent Member and Guest experience on and off the course
- Management of potential and new members induction
- Administration and accurate recording of member handicaps through the recognised
Golf Systems i.e. the World Handicapping System (WHS) platform. - Logistics and running of golf competitions and events
- Responsibility for Club Health and Safety policies and Procedures
The Candidate:
A Strong background in golf customer service and hospitality excellence with the following
skill sets.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
simultaneously. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and
team members professionally. - Proficient in using Microsoft Office and technology for administrative tasks such as IG.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well
as part of a team. - Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
- Understanding and use of Social Media Channels for marketing and member
communications - Retail experience is beneficial
Remuneration:
- Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with the experience and skills of the applicant.
- Hours: Standard working hours are Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00, but further attendance may be required when necessary.
- Holidays: 20 days plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays.
