Situated in the heart of West Yorkshire on the outskirts of the World Heritage Site of Saltaire, Northcliffe overlooks the beautiful Aire Valley. The course is a challenging 18-holes set in some 100 acres of stunning parkland & hosts some of the most scenic and challenging holes in the whole of Yorkshire & North of England. We have been host club for Professional Tour Events & have held numerous county & regional championships.
The Chairman of the Board on all matters and through him/her to the Board of Directors.
The efficient management of Northcliffe Golf Club in accordance with the directives given by the Board of Directors, with the objective of satisfying the highest expectation of members, visitors, and staff. This will include the day-to-day management of property and off course facilities maintenance in a manner that maximises revenues, members’, and visitors’ satisfaction, as well as staff development and job satisfaction.
The Club Manager’s duties are delegated to him by the Board of Directors from time to time. Key areas of emphasis include revenue generation and off course facilities management within budgets set by the Board.
At times the Manager will act subject to the direction of the Board. His/her specific responsibilities may be varied from time to time.
The following list summarises the areas of responsibility for the Club Manager, however, it is not intended to be exhaustive and will not have contractual effect.
- Golf Club Staff (HR issues)
- Finance – Day to day financial requirements i.e. weekly banking, payroll, paying suppliers.
- Sales and Marketing
32 Hours Per Week.
