We are seeking a Hospitality, Food & Beverage Manager to join the team at Newcastle Under Lyme Golf Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operation to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of food and beverage services. , oversee the day-to-day maintenance of food and beverage facilities, and to guarantee the delivery of an exceptional hospitality experience for customers.

The Club:

The Role:
To lead our team of staff, communicating effectively to ensure the motivation of these staff and the smooth running of the front of house operations.
this will include
- Induction, training, development and management of all food and beverage assistants.
- To develop and deliver long term strategic business development of the bar and catering functions in collaboration with the General Manager and House Director.
- To monitor, review and refresh the food and drinks menus, ensuring all visitors to the NGC enjoy interesting, healthy, and appetising choices.
- To have overall responsibility for ordering of stock and receiving deliveries
- Develop strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Being responsible for regular and accurate stock checks.
- Providing clear and accurate financial reports monthly.
- Ensure that the bar and kitchen equipment is regularly checked, maintained, and repaired when necessary.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and tidiness within the kitchen and bar areas and that food hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Implementing all environmentally sustainable initiatives including the waste and recycling.
- Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
- Work with the General Manager and Head Chef to identify and develop value added products and services to enhance the members/guest experience and drive sales.
- Approving and refining the catering menu and individual dishes prior to them being available to members/guests and visitors
- Supervising and working closely with staff of all levels, ensuring good guidance and encouragement where it is needed.
- Identify training needs
- To be responsible for drawing up rosters and providing payroll information for all bar and kitchen staff, ensuring that the building is always appropriately staffed.
