The Vacancy:
Porters Park Golf Club, a traditional and established Members’ golf club in Radlett, Hertfordshire, is looking to employ an experienced Golf Operations Manager.
The Golf Operations Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager, will be part of the senior administration team and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of golf operations at the Club.
Flexible working patterns will be required in accordance with the needs of the business.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A detailed knowledge of the “current” golfing landscape
- A strong understanding of the workings and traditions of a members’ golf club
- A customer-focused approach
- A self-motivated can-do attitude
- A competency in playing the sport
- Experience in working with golf management software (IG, Club)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Cross-functional relationship building skills
- Strong marketing skills
- A commitment to training, development, and continuous improvement
- A high level of competence across all social media platforms would be advantageous
- Must hold a valid driving license.
Remuneration
The Golf Operations Manager can expect a competitive package, and a generous annual incentive package based on the key metrics.
