The Club:
Worthing Golf Club is a thriving members’ golf club, located within the South Downs National Park, overlooking the West Sussex town of Worthing and English Channel, with commanding views stretching from the Seven Sisters in the east, across to the Isle of Wight to the west. Established in 1905 it has 2 first class 18 hole courses, with historic architectural pedigree from both Harry Vardon & Harry Colt, plus a 6 hole Academy Course and extensive practice facilities.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced commercial professional, for the role of General Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Board of Directors to lead a dedicated staff team, effect positive change and ensure sustainability. The General Manager role incorporates Club Secretary, Company Secretary, and is the chief executive officer of the company.
The current General Manager/Club Secretary will be retiring after 10 years. He has made an enormous contribution to the success of Worthing Golf Club and will leave a strong foundation for a new incumbent to build upon. Our aim is to appoint a successor to commence 01 Oct 2024.
The Candidate:
The Club is looking for a new leader with the drive and passion to build on and reach new standards of excellence in the management and presentation of our courses, clubhouse & ancillary facilities and the range of services for our members, guests and visitors.

We offer a competitive and negotiable salary and benefits package commensurate with the knowledge, skills and experience of the applicant.
