The company prides itself on product development, and with over 50% of its workforce dedicated to product engineering, Higgs explains that Golf Genius embraces a culture of "leading by listening" to its customers. Interestingly, Higgs also points out that whilst the company's use of Net Promoter Score feedback offers satisfying results when scores are high, he highlighted that the results that Golf Genius really take notice of are the 1s and 2s out of 10, as those are the signs the product isn't working for their customers. Backed by investors including current world number one Rory McIlroy, and boasting a development team of over 100 engineers, Golf Genius are one of the most innovative businesses in the golf industry. With a constant focus on product development, Higgs has just one aim in mind: "We're about trying to make golf fun. If we're successful in helping our customers make golf fun, then loyalty goes up, participation goes up, and I think everybody will get the benefit."
