We’re asking all colleagues to take just 15 minutes to learn lifesaving CPR with the British Heart Foundation’s new RevivR tool. A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time – at home, on a golf course, or out in public. There are over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests every year in the UK and tragically, less than one in ten people survive. The BHF want to triple survival rates by 2030 and by learning CPR, we can help them achieve that. Giving CPR and using a defibrillator can more than double the chances of survival; the British Heart Foundation’s RevivR training tool will teach you how to recognise a cardiac arrest, give you live feedback as you practise chest compressions and show you how to use a defibrillator. The training is easy, free and quick - all you need is your mobile phone and a cushion; in 15 minutes, you’ll have the confidence to step in and save a life in an emergency. To start the training, click here. You never know when you might need to help save a life, but taking just 15 minutes to learn now will mean you’re ready for that day. And please share with friends and family to keep our golf community safe. Thank you for your support.
