Your association needs you! Your chance to present at the 2023 GCMA National Conference

Do you have something to say on your favourite topic or issue in golf club management, that you'd like to share with your colleagues and peers? New to presenting or would you like to develop your skills in this area?  We’d love to help you to get involved and to deliver a presentation at this year’s conference from November 12th-14th at Hinkley Island Hotel in Leicestershire.  We know from our recent members survey that members want to learn from the experiences of their peers and so, the GCMA is looking for anyone with a passion or interest in any particular topic or key issue experienced by golf club managers.  Whether you have a little or a lot of experience with public speaking, we would love to help you develop your skills and confidence to deliver a conference worthy presentation at Hinckley Island this November. To help you prepare, we have enlisted the help of top scoring conference presenter Kevin Fish, to deliver a 1-day workshop to build your confidence and act as host for our Peer-2-Peer presentations on the big day! This is an opportunity not to be missed and will give you invaluable experience presenting at events while also giving you the tools you need to confidently present to your committees, boards, proprietors and wider golf club members too.  How to apply If you’d like to get involved, please express your interest by emailing [email protected] by the 1st June 2023. If selected, you will need to be available to attend the 1-day workshop on the 22 June and then be ready to present at the GCMA conference on either the 13th or 14th of November.  We look forward to hearing from you!
