Tain Golf Club – A stunning coastal golfing experience

Tom Morris laid out Tain golf club within a mix of links and heathland, with panoramic views of the Dornoch Firth and the mountain backdrop of Easter Ross. Tain is just off of the A9, 35 miles north of the city of Inverness, and nine miles south of the town of Dornoch. The cosy club house is awash with the spirit of Highland hospitality and the relaxed, friendly welcome is perfect for the many visitors making the pilgrimage to this region.
Tain is now aiming to professionalise every area of operations within the club, through the appointment of its first full time General Manager, supported by a full time administrative assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member & visitor relations
- Leading the whole team
- Facilities management
- Marketing & administration
The General Manager will also be central to the creation of the club’s strategic plan and helping to modernise governance protocols.
About You:
In order to meet these challenges, the successful candidate must demonstrate:
- A proven record in effectively managing a service-based organisation
- A thorough understanding of the operational and governance demands of a private members golf club
- An outgoing personality to positively influence the performance of others
