Description
ClubNet Systems, a club management software company owned by Irish technology company Golfgraffix, is seeking a UK Sales Executive, for the Midlands Region to enable further growth of the company and the continued roll out of the ClubNet suite of integrated club management software solutions in the UK.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for golf and customer service.

Since 2011 Golfgraffix have been supplying numerous areas of the worldwide golf industry with innovative technology solutions and have worked with over 1,000 golf clubs worldwide. With the acquisition of ClubNet in 2017, Golfgraffix launched the ClubNet Systems integrated club management solution and is now the market leader in Ireland.
The UK club management software industry is a competitive and ever-changing industry, and standing still is not an option. We are constantly looking to improve and develop our products and the successful candidate will play an important role in this evolution.
Purpose of Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the UK Sales Executive will be responsible for converting the huge interest in ClubNet software solutions into satisfied clients.
Tasks that will be undertaken:
- Generating own leads from contacts at golf clubs
- Representing ClubNet Systems at GCMA and CMAE events from time to time
- Delivering online demonstrations of ClubNet software systems both in person and remotely
- Following up after all demonstrations
- Issuing clients with quotations
- Visiting potential clients to deliver presentations to club management and/or Committees
- Close deals and secure signed agreements
- Report regularly to ClubNet management and CEO on sales pipeline and potential clients
- Support clients through their on-boarding process, assisting them with their system setup, and delivering online and in-person training to club staff as required
- Attend on site at the Club on the day of changeover, to provide support and training as required
- Keep in regular contact to ensure satisfied clients turn into advocates for ClubNet Systems
Person Specifications:
- Someone with experience in a management or operational position at a golf club
- Deep understanding of golf club operations and with a sales performance mentality
- Willing to learn and embrace new solutions to golf club management issues
- Ideally, will be an active member of the GCMA and/or CMAE
- Friendly and likeable personality and passionate about modern and progressive club management
- Competent and knowledgeable in all areas of golf club technology
- Self-starter and motivated to generate results
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- IT Literate: Word, Excel, ESP
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage varied workload and meet objectives
- A creative mindset with ‘can do’ attitude
- Previous experience within golf or member club environment
- Familiarity with Golf specific club management software systems
- Ability to work independently to achieve the required results
Place of Work:
The successful candidate will be based at home, but will be required to travel throughout their Region and potentially further afield from time to time to demonstrate the software, negotiate contracts and ensure our clients’ expectations are exceeded.
Renumeration & Benefits:
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: OTE £60,000 per year dependant on experience and qualifications
· 40 hours per week, ensuring flexibility and work-life balance.
· 5 days out of 7 days, weekend work may occasionally be required
· Competitive salary plus a commission scheme
· Training & Professional development provided (subject to individual and business needs)
· 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
