The 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Golf Club Managers Association will be held on Thursday 30th April 2026, at Conwy Golf Club, commencing at 10.00am
Nomination of Directors for 2026:
There are three vacancies this year.
Should any member who is willing to act or propose a member duly qualified to act as a Director, and is eligible in accordance with article (16), and is permitted by law, wish to be considered for election as a Director, he or she must submit a notice in writing signed by a member duly qualified to attend and vote at that meeting stating the member’s intention to propose such person for election as Director.
There must also be submitted a notice in writing signed by the proposed Director stating his/her willingness to be elected.
These should be submitted in writing, via email, to the Chief Executive Tom Brooke, [email protected] no sooner than 19th March 2026 and no later than 2nd April 2026.
In the event of there being more candidates or nominations than there are vacancies on the Board, subject to the maximum number of 8 elected Directors as set out in the Articles, the election shall be by ballot at the Annual General Meeting.
Nomination of Trustees for the GCMA Benevolent Fund:
There are five vacancies this year.
After several years of service, Frank Clapp will be stepping down as a Trustee.
Judy Barker and David Spring will both be standing for re-election.
Should any member who is willing to act or propose a member duly qualified to act as a Trustee for the Benevolent Fund, and is permitted by law, wish to be considered for election as a Trustee, he or she must submit a notice in writing signed by a member duly qualified to attend and vote at that meeting stating the member’s intention to propose such person for election as Trustee. There must also be submitted a notice in writing signed by the proposed Trustee stating his/her willingness to be elected.

GOLF CLUB MANAGERS’ ASSOCIATION BENEVOLENT FUND AGM
Immediately following the conclusion of the Company AGM, the Golf Club Managers Association Benevolent Fund AGM will be held.
The Agenda, Benevolent Fund Report and any other papers required in order to conduct the meeting will be available within the members area of the website no later than 16th April 2026.
Lunch & Golf
Members are also invited to join us after the AGM for a 2 course lunch, followed by 18 holes of Golf, playing for the Captains Cup, in a pairs better ball format.
