Description
Hollinwell (Notts Golf Club) are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our team at one of Nottinghamshire’s premier heathland courses.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for golf and/or customer service.
About the Role
You will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the office, golf operations and sales. The role combines tee time sales and service within golf administration, giving you variety and responsibility within a busy club environment.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House & Customer Service:
- Deliver first class customer service to members and visitors.
- Look to deliver green fee sales as per directed KPI’s.
- Support the running of golf operations, including bookings, tee sheet management and competition administration.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for all golfers.
- Liaise with Heads of Departments to ensure and maintain efficient communication and service delivery.
- Professional telephone manner and verbal communication skills
Administrative Duties:
- Assist with general office administration such as database management, email and telephone correspondence, member requests.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records of sales, memberships and visitor statistics.
- Assist with preparing accurate reports or documentation for Management/Committee meetings.
General Support:
- Ensure the reception and clubhouse areas are tidy, welcoming and well presented.
- Adhere to all Club policies, rules and standard operating procedures and complete all mandatory training, including First Aid, Manual Handling and other compliance courses as required.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Confident using computer operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Reliable, well organised and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Friendly, approachable and a team player.
- Confidence in managing and directing customer enquiries appropriately.
Desireable Skills:
- Experience in a golf club, sports/leisure or administrative environment.
- Previous experience of a customer service or sales related role.
