Have you completed Wales Golf’s Club Survey?

Clubs across the country are being reminded to provide feedback to the governing body on their initiatives over the last four years... Golf clubs in Wales are being reminded to fill out the governing body’s 2021-2022 Wales Golf Club Survey. The exercise will provide feedback to Wales Golf on their initiatives over the last four years, since the 2018 Wales Golf Club Survey, and their support for golf clubs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Wales Golf also say that completing the survey will allow them to “continue to monitor changes, developments and trends in Welsh Golf, and the issues, challenges and opportunities facing Welsh clubs today”, as well as contributing to the development of their new five-year strategic plan that will run from 2023-2027. Clubs can complete the survey by clicking here. It will remain open for completion until midnight Sunday, March 20 and all clubs will receive a copy of the summarised report. Meanwhile, the governing body have said they are aware some clubs are having difficulty accessing the Grants Portal via Sport Wales for storm response support. They confirmed that that this stage in the application process was currently out of their hands and asked clubs to direct enquiries to Sport Wales via [email protected]. “The Wales Golf Development Team will be on hand to assist you with your application when you have accessed the Grants Portal Stage,” Wales Golf added. “When applying, please ensure that all evidence provided clearly shows the damage made by recent storms.” Do you subscribe to the GCMA’s weekly E-newsletter?
