Award win just the beginning for ambitious newcomer Bearcroft

Llanwern Golf Club's Luke Bearcroft took the Newcomer of the Year award and he is hungry to add more to his burgeoning CV

Luke Bearcroft was bursting with pride after claiming the Newcomer of the Year prize at the GCMA 2023 Member Awards.

The 20-year-old General Manager at Llanwern Golf Club hopes the award is just the beginning as he seeks to make his mark on the industry.

And he hopes others will follow the example he has set in striving for ever higher standards.

"Winning Newcomer of the Year gives me a great feeling of pride and a sense of accomplishment," he said.

"It's a recognition of my achievements and contributions, signalling that others appreciate my efforts in club management....
