Now is the Time to Become a Women in Golf Charter Signatory

Led by The R&A, the Women in Golf Charter was launched to increase women and girls’ participation in golf and to encourage more opportunities for women to work in the golf industry.

As managers of golf clubs and venues, you are in a position to directly impact the experience women and girls have every day, which is why The R&A is asking for your support in tackling this important issue.

Comprised of golf clubs, manufacturers and organisations, signatories of the Charter have committed to making the sport more inclusive, through simple but impactful changes.

A great example of a club doing just that, is Enville GC. Watch this short case study video to hear more about the great work the club has been doing.

While the Women in Golf Charter provides the push for change, #FOREeveryone is a single campaign for golf to unite behind in support of it.

You may already be aware of the campaign but with a recent multimedia push to consumers nationwide, now is the perfect time to get involved by becoming a Charter Signatory and working towards your own ‘Charter commitments’.

If you would like to find out more about becoming a signatory, please register your interest and access the #FOREeveryone resource portal. There you will find educational and marketing materials that will allow you to activate the campaign at your club.

Delegate places and Breakout Sessions are filling up quickly for GCMA 2021 Conference at Wyboston Lakes Resort, staged from November 21 to 23. Check out the full programme, book your sessions, and get all the information you need by visiting our dedicated website here.
