Our members will be saddened to learn of the death of John Paramor – one of golf’s most recognisable figures and a recent speaker at GCMA events.
His contribution to our game has been immense. As one of the world’s leading experts in the rules of golf, he upheld the highest traditions of our sport both on and off the course.
GCMA members will recall the times he addressed us at numerous events, most recently the 2021 Conference, and will treasure having had the opportunity to meet and listen to him.
We will remember John Paramor fondly and, on behalf of everyone at the GCMA, our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.
