Vacancy: GCMA Membership Services Coordinator
Are you passionate about delivering a great membership experience?
The GCMA is recruiting for a creative, outgoing Membership Services Coordinator who can pro-actively contribute to the future growth and success of the association.
The Membership Services Coordinator will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer service to our members, and for recruiting golf club managers and other industry professionals to become members of the association. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven person who will thrive in a small team that is passionate about the association and its members.
The role calls for a confident person with excellent communications skills, who relishes speaking to people on the phone, and who wants to make a difference through the work that they do. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues within the association, and the role requires strong organisational ability and good IT skills.
The Golf Club Managers’ Association (GCMA) is the leading authority in golf club management, dedicated to delivering progressive, industry specific education programmes and networking opportunities, whilst offering high quality personal services and support for the development of our membership of over 1,700 golf club managers – based predominantly in the UK.
Through a comprehensive programme of professional support the GCMA helps the development of golf clubs and ensures golf club managers and secretaries fulfil their potential. Seven staff work at GCMA HQ – based at Bristol and Clifton GC – supported by a board of directors, and 16 regional managers based around the UK.
To increase membership recruitment of eligible industry professionals, provide membership services, integrate new members into the association and administer the membership. This role will help to grow the membership, by converting leads into paying customers, and providing membership care to maximise retention rates, developing good relationships with all current and potential members.
